Founded in 2024 by Anna, Erin and Christian, MushyKinz was created with a special mission—to bring the most adorable characters to life and spread the magic of kindness, community, and creativity. Every Mushykin is made with love, dedication, and a whole lot of heart, and we hope you cherish them as much as we do!

With our motto, "Manifest Kindness," we hope to inspire kindness wherever Mushykinz go—turning small moments into big smiles and fostering connections through storytelling and play.

By blending digital storytelling with real-life collectibles, we’ve crafted an experience that goes beyond just a toy—it’s a world you can truly immerse yourself in.

How are Mushykinz made?

Making a MushyKin (Mushy for short) isn’t easy, like, it's really hard.. but it’s totally worth it! We pour in a ton of love, creativity and hours of hard work into every single one. They’re handmade with serious care (yep, for real, each one is hand crafted by skilled artisans). Wanna know how a Mushy comes to life? Keep reading to find out!

Step 1

The Idea

First, we kick things off by brainstorming and sketching a bunch of cute design ideas for the Mushies. We’re all about cute animals, so we pretty much knew right away how we wanted them to look! After that, we bring our sketches to life using 3D software, turning our drawings into 3D models. Then, we make molds and prototype samples with a 3D printer (Christian’s obsessed with his 3D printer!). The whole process is super creative and a ton of fun!

Step 2

Development

Once we’re totally happy with the prototype samples, we start working on the packaging designs and all the other fun details that make up the cute little package you’ll get. After that, we send the 3D files over to our manufacturer in Ningbo, China, so they can start making samples. Honestly, they’re the best at hand-making this type of squishy toy, and they are a big part of the Mushykinz family!

Step 3

Shipping Mushies to YOU!

We get so hyped when the shipment of Mushies arrives at our warehouse. We even throw a little welcome party for them (no joke). Then we pack them up safely and ship them out, so they can find their forever home with you!
